Dr. Sandy Dutro treats musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction using a wide variety of approaches that are blended to meet the unique needs of each individual. Approaches include:
  • Gentle spinal manipulation and mobilization 
  • Various soft tissue techniques including: ART (Active Release Techniques), proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, myofascial trigger point, and Graston. 
  • Physical therapy modalities including: ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, manual and mechanical traction. 
  • Instruction in ergonomics and body mechanics, exercise core strengthening and stabilization. 

As a runner, cyclist and master swimmer, Dr. Dutro brings both a personal and professional awareness and appreciation of athletics to her practice. Her patients include swimmers, rowers, cyclists, divers, vaulters, ice skaters including Olympic and world champions. In addition to her practice at Midtown Natural Health, Dr. Dutro has also been a Consulting Chiropractic at the Riekes Center for Human Enhancement.

For more than 20 years she has served Palmer College of Chiropractic-West, first in clinical research and as a continuing education lecturer, and then as a faculty clinician.
